Up next Saturday night February 26th and Rowdy the Roadrunner. Truly Rowdy looks like a roadrunner so that's cool - I could see having a little miniature one in my dorm if I was a student at CSUB. They are 9-16 and like SU play as an Independent and if you looked lately we are tops as an Independent! Fortunately for us CSUB is on a 1-10 losing streak since January 1. That's good news. Where is Bakersfield?
Bakersfield lies approximately 100 miles (160 km) north of Los Angeles (about a 1½-hour drive on I-5 and State Route 99) and about 300 miles (480 km) southeast of the state capital, Sacramento (about a 4½-hour drive on State Route 99). The rest you can "Google." if you are interested. Now this is not a push over game for SU. First, you have tp play on the road and that is not an easy win, unless you are Washington last week, they were not playing on the road, they were playing down the road. Second, the stats are pretty equal - Roadrunners score 69.8 ppg, Redhawks shoot 68.5 ppg and the rest of the stat line is pretty close as well. It will be an interesting game, hopefully SU is still riding high after their moral victory against the UW.
Tune into the game on KIRO AM 710 ESPN to hear all the action
Yes, I know not to exciting - but I have my down days too.
