I felt it - I willed it- I texted it!!

Seattle U 72 Montana State 70 - down by ten an AB stepped it up, in fact the whole team stepped it up - what a game at the Key!  At 12:54 pm Monday I texted Coach told him "Good luck and that this was going to be a breakthrough game - I could feel it."  I got a text back at 1:57 am after the win saying "Yes u did..."  This was a season turning point Redhawk fans a new re generation and confidence for a very talented yet young group. Cameron coached a brilliant game.  Well, heading down to Portland on Wednesday for our next victory against Portland State - stay tuned

Check out our new website - www.seattleucourtsideclub.com up now, but still in some construction.

Come join the team that supports the team - remember, we are all about the student athlete experience at SU - we are the city's team in the classroom and on the hardwood

Incredibley Painful

UC Davis 80 SU 58 - ouch I had to turn off the radio and go back to watching Husky Football.  As much as I don't like purple and gold I found myself rooting for the 4th and goal go ahead win.  We, the Redhawks have to stop getting ourselves in a hole and playing catch-up every game else I might find myself tossing the radio and computer out the window.
I look to my second post - BE PATIENT PLEASE to continue to remind myself that this is a marathon not a sprint - yet against the Aggie team running this marathon we should of passed by them  to the next runner.  Instead we shot 30% from the field and sub par from the charity stripe - uh duh, that's why it is called CHARITY!  Our foul shooting is horrendous. Teams now have figured how to stop the transition game they just Zone Up - It's like OK SU go ahead and get that defensive rebound see you at the other end of the court.

No doubt the kids played their hearts out - only 15 turnovers this night a plus- now I am waiting for the shots to drop, please, like raindrops in Seattle!  Next up Montana State - don't worry I will be there in full force!

Be Patient Please

OK, yes SU is 2-5 but don't get your panties in a bunch!  Look who we kicked off with - Maryland a top 25 team and have played five of the seven games on the road - look it isn't easy to win on the road period.  Yes some games should of been wins yet understand this is a young team with much raw talent who have not played together enough yet to get in sync and each game gets a little better - lots of basketball left to play.  After a nice win over Navy 75-70 my Redhawks get a nice break after playing six games in eight days and can get ready for Montana State back in our house at KeyArena - hang in their fans you're gonna see some exciting wins coming up.
